“My friends and I only stayed one night, and it was rainy, so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach or explore much. We had also planned to visit Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, so that’s where we spent most of our time before catching flights the next morning. Larissa’s place is a short drive to the airport. She was super responsive, provided a really cute welcome bag, and the place was cozy and looked just like the photos. It’s an older home, so the floors and steps are a little uneven in places, but she has updated and decorated it beautifully! The beds are super comfortable, and the home is techy—we loved the cool Samsung fridge, the bathroom gadgets, and the fact that each room had its own temperature control. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need, including coffee and tea! We also appreciated the extra touches, including the “last sanitized” date stickers in the bathrooms.Wish we could have stayed longer!”

“The Bliss Cottage is a beautiful private home. It has a couple of cozy nooks if you want to escape from others and read a book when it’s raining. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, a bunk bed with a full-size mattress on the bottom, and a crib for a baby.Bedroom #2 has a full bed.Bedroom #3 has another set of bunk beds. There is also a futon and a pull-out couch. Invite your best friend—there is plenty of space! Larissa is a lovely host. The cottage was clean and cozy. The upstairs bathroom is large and deep—luxurious! It’s a quick drive to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. You could probably walk, but it would take about 20–30 minutes at a good pace.”

“This place was perfect for our family to stay for the night while we were driving through the area. It was close to old orchard beach which was a plus. The house was beautiful, clean, and welcoming.”

“This location worked out great for our family. There were plenty of places within walking distance that kept our teens busy. The backyard was a nice little oasis to relax in at the end of the day. The neighborhood is nice and easy to get to. We were there during one of the hottest stretches of the year (so far) and were very grateful for the air conditioning. We cooked all our meals at the house and had everything we needed in terms of cookware and utensils. Our beagle had a great time as well—we took her to some of the local trails for walks. We’d stay at Larissa’s place again!”

“This home is in a great location, very convenient for getting to attractions and neighboring cities. Larissa outlined everything we needed to know for check-in and checkout. As a mom of three boys who attract spills and dirt, it was a blessing to have access to a washer and dryer… and detergent!”

“My friends and I rented our first Airbnb for our girls’ weekend. We had been looking for a place that could accommodate all seven of us, with two full bathrooms and parking for four cars. We finally found Beachside Bliss Cottage in OOB, and everyone agreed it was the perfect place to stay. The pictures did not disappoint, and we were very happy when Larissa reached out and confirmed she would be happy to host us for the weekend we requested. She was a great host and very responsive whenever we needed to contact her. The place was clean, well-kept, and perfect for our weekend. We didn’t get a chance to use the sunrooms or the backyard (fire pit)—there just wasn’t enough time. The cottage is close enough to the beach, yet far enough away that you don’t hear all the traffic (cars and people). We hope that when we plan our girls’ trip next year, Larissa will allow us to stay again, if it’s available on our dates. I would highly recommend staying at this property for your next trip to OOB.”

“We enjoyed a fun day and night at this beautiful home. It had all that we needed and lots of sweet touches. The only downside were the old squeaky floors and stairs-our baby woke up from them every time we would move.”

“Great cottage close to downtown Old Orchard Beach! The bedrooms were spacious, and having two bathrooms and two sunrooms was a huge plus. Everything was clean, and the host was super responsive. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great, clean place, with lots of room and multiple bunk beds for the kids. A 15-20 minute walk down Atlantic Ave to the beach. The front porch and rear sunroom were nice to have to hang out and it was great having a fire pit outside as well. Nice and new laundry machines and clean towels and linens. Off-street parking for two cars was easy in the quiet and safe neighborhood.”
